Unlike typical levels, this one shifts the focus from platforming to scoring points.
Solar Zoom is the third and final level of Cheery Valley, the sixth and final minigame level, and the forty-first level overall of Yoshi's Crafted World. This level takes place in a colorful racetrack with six racers: Yoshi and five Shy Guys. The objective of this level is to reach the finish line as fast as possible, ahead of the other racers. To do this, Yoshi can steer left and right to stay in the sunlight and avoid shade. He can also throw eggs at the other racers' carts to slow them down.
Overview[edit]Front side[edit]At the start of the level is a Message Block explaining how to use the solar car. Nearby is a scoreboard showing the prizes for the top three: Three Smiley Flowers for coming in first, two Smiley Flowers for coming in second, and one Smiley Flower for coming in third. Yoshi must then board his solar car, which has an Egg-Plant on it. There are five other carts around him driven by Shy Guys. The race starts three seconds after Yoshi boards his solar car. The plant also starts squirting out eggs, which Yoshi can throw at the other carts to slow them down. The first section has shadows created by trees and clouds. There is a group of twenty coins on the right track, and another twenty coins on the left track shortly after, including two Red Coins. Just before a curve, on the left track, there are five hearts Yoshi can pick up. After the curve, to the right on a separate track, is a Smiley Flower. Yoshi then enters a tunnel with plenty of shadows and coins along the way. At the end of the tunnel, on the left track, are coins, a 10-Coin, and three red coins. At the curve, on the middle track, is another collection of coins. A present box can be spotted on the right side of the track, which Yoshi can hit with an egg to get several coins and a red coin. There are then three large, swinging magnets above Yoshi, creating moving shadows. After this are boost panels giving Yoshi extra speed to get over a ramp with coins in the middle. After some more shadows, large paper airplanes start to fly by overhead, creating very large shadows. After several quick turns, Yoshi reaches an uphill ramp which takes him to a colorful area with a Smiley Flower nearby. To get the flower, Yoshi must steer to avoid the large holes in the floor. Yoshi then heads downhill to another turn, which takes him to a few more boost panels. Shortly after, he reaches the finish line. This counts as the goal, and the level is completed. Flip side[edit]There is no longer an Egg-Plant on Yoshi's solar car. The three Poochy Pups are on the three front carts. The faster, red cart now starts in the right track rather than the middle track. There are balloons holding eggs along the way Yoshi can pick up. He can throw these eggs at the carts to slow them down and pick up the Poochy Pups riding them. Collectibles[edit]Smiley Flowers[edit]
Three more Smiley Flowers are awarded for collecting at least 100 coins in the level, completing the level with 20 hearts, and collecting all 20 Red Coins. In the flip side, three are awarded for bringing all three Poochy Pups to the goal, and one more for doing so within three minutes. Crafts[edit]All five car signs are found on the flip side.
Sprout[edit]After Yoshi clears the first ramp, Sprout can be seen sitting on the left side of the tracks, on a roll of tape. Enemies[edit]

Does anyone else fondly remember this game? Did you have the same trouble in Touch Fuzzy, Get Dizzy?
Incidentally, while I played this game as a child, my original copy was lost in a house fire. When I finally replaced it, the price was FORTY DOLLARS. It is, to date, the most I have paid for a Nintendo game and it was totally worth it!
